Biography

McKenna Gray (they/he) is a trans masculine curator, critic, and community researcher based in Tkaronto.

Believing that teaching and learning happen concurrently, McKenna’s methodology prioritizes utilizing literature, art, and archival materials as a catalyst for consciousness raising and solidarity, as well as fostering meaningful relationships.

Seeking to nurture critical perspectives and introduce alternative epistemologies within and beyond the gallery space, they draw upon materialist analysis to address issues related to queer and trans communities, access, and labour.
